Voice daily report app for construction
Daily Report is a free app for iPhone and Android that turns what you say about the day into a construction daily report. It is for whoever writes the daily: foremen, supers, project managers, subs, owner's reps and inspectors. You talk for a minute, check what it wrote, sign it and send the PDF.

Talk through the day in your own words
The app sorts what you said into the sections of a daily report:
- Manpower and crews
- Work performed
- Equipment
- Deliveries
- Inspections
- Delays
- Safety
- Visitors
- Notes and photos
Check it, then sign
The app shows you the report it built. Fix anything it got wrong, add photos, and sign. Your name and the date and time are recorded on the report, and so is the location when location is on.
Send the PDF by email or text. Your company name and logo can go on it.
Changes after signing
A signed report is not edited in place. To correct it, you sign an amendment: a new version that names the version it replaces. The original is kept, and the amended PDF is marked as amended.
Questions
- Does it work with no signal?
- Yes. Reports save on your phone, and you can record, fill in, sign and share a report with no signal. Turning your voice into a report with no signal works on iPhone 15 Pro and newer with Apple Intelligence turned on.
- What happens to what I say?
- With Cloud AI on and a connection: on iPhone, your voice becomes text on the phone and only the text is sent to be organized. On Android, the recording is sent to be turned into text. The privacy policy names the providers and explains how to switch this off.
- Does it work in Spanish?
- Not yet. The app works in English today.
- What does it cost?
- The app is free on iPhone and Android, with no account. Company plans are coming.
